Pay it forward

Hi, we are a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 kids! our kids range from 1 to 9 years old. They are two girls named Taila and Italey and there are two boys David, and Cole. We live in an apartment locally. We have been on T.A.N.F since a year and a half ago, after I was laid off from working due to the economy. After job search for nearly 2 years we are still unemployed. Times have been very hard for us, as well as many others. We barely survive, with the welfare that we receive, some months are harder that others. Our family has been blessed by help from others that have donated clothes to our children, and have continued donating throughout the past months! If it wasnt for their donations our kids wouldnt have the clothes they now have. We are a close family, christians, and believe that God is our ultimate provider! So far "something" has kept us just above water. Holidays are always an added burden, we dont have extra money for gifts for the kids. We will most likely sign up for a basket from a local source this year, for the holiday feast, and such. No matter how our circumstances are, we as a family will be greatful, and celebrate the holidays, smiling, caroling, and decorating a christmas tree. At times we have thought about relocating , to another state to find work, but even that would put a huge strain on our family, as the aunts, uncles, grand parents are all here! And if nothing else in this hard time, at least the kids have stability in school, church, and family.
